Founded in 1915, Ansul is a Tyco Safety Products company with headquarters in Marinette, Wisconsin, USA and manufacturing/warehouse facilities around the world. Ansul’s product offering includes fire extinguishers, hand line units...pre-engineered restaurant, vehicle, and industrial systems...sophisticated fire detection/suppression systems... a complete line of dry chemical, foam, aerosol, and gaseous clean agents…and hazardous chemical spill control and vapor-mitigating agents. Ansul has been designing and manufacturing fire protection equipment since 1939 when they introduced the first cartridge-operated, dry chemical fire extinguisher. The Ansul Fire Technology Center is one of the most extensive fire research and testing facilities in the world. Every year, the Ansul Fire School trains hundreds of customers from around the world in the basics of hands-on firefighting using portable and stationary fire equipment and a variety of fire extinguishing agents. Ansul also holds dozens of intense product training programs where their authorized distributors are instructed and tested in the design, installation, and service of fire equipment.
