Modular design of Capricorn 2000EX weather stations provides professional-grade data capture, storage and transfer. Designed around the Control Module, this flexible system can easily accept signal inputs from a wide variety of meteorological sensors.
The Control Module is housed in a compact, utility-grade enclosure which includes a data logger storing up to 511 records at user-defined intervals. Dual on-board RS-232 interface ports allow simultaneous connection to CWS proprietary Weather Display Console, modem, or directly to a computer.
The standard system comes with wind speed and direction sensor, barometric pressure sensor, temperature probe, relative humidity probe and self-aspirating radiation shield. Optional sensors include rain gauge, heated rain gauge, soil temperature probe, solar radiation (pyranometer) sensor and leaf wetness sensor.
Used by public safety agencies around the world, weather stations from Columbia Weather Systems are available in fixed-mount, portable, and vehicle-mount configurations.
Optimize resources with automated CAMEO/ALOHA interface and immediate incident weather data available simultaneously to multiple locations.
